I dont want to get all hysterically PC, but its not that they should pretend hes not big but they purposely made a funny sequence in the show built around his weight. They knew he was on the show and they obviously created the bit where they went on the helicopter excluding him and then thought it would be funny showing him getting there by ferry all alone , right at the time they were all getting ready to go home.

It would be like planning an outing where they all rode small bikes knowing Robert would be too fat to ride one. And then comically having the camera guy follow him from behind , showing his huge bottom overflowing the bike seat and showing him falling over repeatedly in a 10 min segment at Venice Beach while Ramsey and the rest are way ahead having a good time.

Or purposely having them go for a drive in some Minis and then showing him trying to squeeze in one --- that sort of thing. They could have easily planned a more appropriate outing.

Is it right they make fun of Robert all the time? No, but the show is on TV for ratings and the contestants should expect they will be humiliated or made fun of. Look at the American Idol out-takes. Would anyone watch them if they didn't make fun of people? With Roberts health condition - I'm surprised he didn't lose any weight from last season to this season. He could have been an good example for combating obesity.

It's not just HK, it's pretty much the entire restaurant industry. A very good percentage of kitchen workers and servers smoke. Though it explains a lot to me as to how they send out such bad food after tasting it - the smoking kills their ability to taste.

Really? I have worked in two restaurants and I would say maybe 1/3 smoked, maybe. Interesting.
