The chef's table was total crap by the show - we never saw if they were told that each cook had to present their station and serve them. Few of these people are "front of house" types, so it was really unfair. That said, 20 minutes with no greet is insane and Van just really needs to stop breathing.
Oh, and can someone please teach the one girl how to do her eyebrows?! Those things are just plain scary.

I think Kevin or Dave are the only choices really to win. But Gorton (I refuse to call him Gordon, as I think he is now a fisherman who only fishes for ratings) should not pick any of these "chefs." Oh and does anyone know why Heather is on the show now? What happened to her restaurant?

Not sure who you are refering to.....
I can't really think of one of them that shows any drive to want to win. They all just kind of show up, do what they have to do and leave. At least in other seasons you could see that a few of them actually wanted it pretty bad.

This show is just SO predictable. It was obvious at the end of last week that the men were going to lose this week's challenge. I mean.. the guys are all high fiving each other and are a perfect team, until the "villian robert" shows up, and then they are total idiots (other than Dave). Andy is going to be the next male to be axed.. so totally obvious.
I am going to predict right now that Dave is going to be one of the two finalists. He may not win the whole thing (the best chef often doesn't) but he will make it.
Oh BTW.. did anyone else notice Ramsey's assistant (the tall bald dude) telling the chefs they had to take the paper/plastic off during prep.. Yet the morons still screw that up. LOL
If I find the link, I will post.. Unverified info, but basically it implied the whole "prize" was a sham.

I thought after that meltdown it might have been an aberration but he got even worse in the recent episode. He really deserved to go.
I agree no one has really stepped up to seem like they are clearly a great candidate as a top chef but Ariel, Kevin and Dave -- all seem to be normal and non-moronic and I dont even mind the other females though it seems like the odds are a bit longer one of them would win.
I've worked in all sorts of different restaurants in the past, from fine dining, to chain "fern bar" or "brass and glass" type establishments and I can honestly say that most of these "chefs" don't even seem to have the talent to be a decent line cook, let alone a "chef".
I mean, I've known $9 an hour grill and sautee cooks who could run circles around just about everyone on the show.
Raw or drastically undercooked proteins ? USE A FREAKING TEMP PROBE ! It isn't that difficult. Hell, if one actually knew what they were doing, you could tell just by the color of outside of the meat or god forbid, even by the touch (firmness.)

When you watch Chopped, Food Network Challenge, Top Chef, etc. you see people make mistakes, but not NEARLY as many as the people on Hell's Kitchen (or the mistakes are not simple things like checking protien core temp if it's still raw)
It's a shock entertainment show.
