I'm a bit sick of the show. It's all so phony. I'm only watching it at this point because DH still wants to watch it. But if there's a next season, I won't watch. Gordon Ramsay is having some trouble with his restaurants at the moment. Maybe he needs to scale back on the TV shows and focus on the core of his business.

I was wondering about that, since he seems to have been on a gazillion shows the last few years. He used to do Kitchen Nightmares and the F Word on the BBC and he does two shows in the US, Nightmares as well as Hells Kitchen. I was wondering how in the heck does he even pretend to run a bunch of restaurants too? Of course he delegates all that to others but you would think he has to have SOME input and oversight into them.

I'm guessing his TV show is more profitable than his actual resturants.

Looks like he was a bit of a fad for awhile and then crashed down to earth. No one wants to buy his $200 truffle pizza or whatever the hell that thing was that he showed off as his crowning achievement. laugh out loud That was so arrogant of him to brag about how he could dress up a pizza and then dumb people would line up in the street to throw their money away.

The editing snafu with Tek was hillarious. I noticed her, but it didn't immediately register to me that she was already booted off, since I turn of my brain on this show. laugh out loud Brilliant. More proof that this show is totally staged.

Looks like all his "celebrity guests" (people that run his other resturants) are pricks too. Without a 250k prize being dangled, I doubt many people would want to work for a jerk like him or his underlings.

Yea I saw that too. It was actually Amanda though, and I noticed that her pony tail was different too, the clip with Tek in the background she had the pony tail down, and on the next scene her pony tail is in like a loop bun (not sure of the technical name). I showed my brother and he was like "Maybe Gordon didn't freak out at her about it so they added in that clip to make it more entertaining." I caught it on the first run, that was crappy editing.

So sad that 3 guys (2 with injuries) and 2 women were able to complete separate services alone, though I did notice the women's sous chef working garnish or meat, but whatever.

And moving squirrel eyebrows over to the blue team was just nasty on GR's part - dismiss them both, create the black team already and do an extra 2 hour show to keep the episode numbers correct.

I think Dave has been doing great. He really gets moving in that kitchen. Dave, Van & Kevin are all such good team players and always willing to help. They are becoming a strong force to beat.

Ariel never gets that much airtime, other than this last episode, but she can move too. Tennille gets better every week, she really stepped up with Ariel last night. Those girls kicked ass.

Susanne and Sabrina are the next to go, hopefully.

Poor Andy and his fingers. He was a good guy, just not the right guy for the job. And next week EEK! I hope Dave will be okay!

I worked my buddy's kitchen at a restaurant here in Austin yesterday.. First time cooking in a kitchen in 2 years... It was like riding a bike. I don't know how these people can screw up that much. Dontknow

I didnt think she was that bad except for being on the line the last two times and other people have messed up on the line too. Also she seemed to have the hardest part --- cooking meat. I couldnt even figure out what Tenille was doing. Even in that episode she won it for the girls in the challenge portion and shes been fairly consistently decent in previous episodes.

Shes also not nearly as obnoxious as Tenille. In fact watching the show its a good example of group dynamics in which the group suddenly turns on one member for relatively modest reasons. Everyone claims they hate her guts but she hasnt been nearly as obnoxious as Tenille who not only dragged the group down in previous episodes but also melted down going berserk and also talks trash all the time about other members. It was like Tenille turned the group against her and she really hasnt done anything to the other members at all and has been trying to be really helpful and they seem to hate her even more. Ive seen that happen on other shows too , the infamous example being Top Chef where one chef constantly influenced the others into rabidly hating one chef -- Marcel. Sure he was controversial but the haterd towards him was grossly out of proportion , totally wacked out.

The previews looked painful. I always wondered why Dave still delivers pots/pans with his broken arm. When my arm was in a cast I couldn't do a thing with my right arm, even button my pants. So seeing the preview was not a huge surprise to me, I've been waiting for it.

Tennille is just getting on my nerves, her voice just gets to me. And I hope Sabrina goes, her inconsistency is getting bad.
