Giftcard is issued within 20 days of TV delivery and expires 90 days after being issued.
Sign up for Dell rewards (free) for an extra 3% (~$30) back, or finance through Dell for an extra 6% (~$60) back.

Greentoe - overpromise and underdeliver. How long have you worked there?
Well, if you sign up for Dell rewards (free) you can get an additional 3% back ($30) and if you use cashback sites even more (I see some for 6%, so another $60). If you can use the GC or sell close to value, brings this TV down to lowest ever from legit source (~$660 + tax on $998). Beats the $850 from greentoe (if you can even get that now) easily.
Any advise on which is the better deal? (not really taking into account the $250 dell gift card)
I'm more interested in which is the better tv from folks who have both sets
thanks!

Hi, I don't own these, but have done significant research. They are pretty comparable, however the Vizio P series in 55 inch will be an IPS screen, so better off angle viewing, but worse blacks. That would be the biggest difference. Otherwise I would compare both using Rtings.com compare tool.
