Giftcard is issued within 20 days of TV delivery and expires 90 days after being issued.

Hi, I don't own these, but have done significant research. They are pretty comparable, however the Vizio P series in 55 inch will be an IPS screen, so better off angle viewing, but worse blacks. That would be the biggest difference. Otherwise I would compare both using Rtings.com compare tool.

In case you want to avoid the hassel of gift card, try greentoe.com ... a week or so ago they were selling the same tv for 850 tax and shipping included.

Greentoe - overpromise and underdeliver. How long have you worked there?

Well, if you sign up for Dell rewards (free) you can get an additional 3% back ($30) and if you use cashback sites even more (I see some for 6%, so another $60). If you can use the GC or sell close to value, brings this TV down to lowest ever from legit source (~$660 + tax on $998). Beats the $850 from greentoe (if you can even get that now) easily.

Damn. I was about to jump on the walmart vizio P 55 this weekend for $850. (w/taxes)

Any advise on which is the better deal? (not really taking into account the $250 dell gift card)

I'm more interested in which is the better tv from folks who have both sets

thanks!

dang, I just don't know what I would use the $250 for. I don't need a soundbar, PC or laptop right now. But for those who have a good idea what else to buy from Dell, this is very solid.

It's a beautiful TV. I got it for 815 after taxes and cash back on Black Friday. No gift card back then. It's a solid deal if you can use the gift card. I bet it keeps coming down in price though.
