I own a Hubsan H107P and it's a really good beginner flyer. Not a sport flyer like its predecessor the H107L, but that's also what makes it a good fit for people who just start the hobby. The Altitude hold (barometer) function is not perfect but still helps stabilize the quad. Around 8-10 minutes flight time, which is pretty fair for a micro quad. Chilled indoor flight with the prop guard on. Has enough punch to fly outside (avoid windy days, it's just a micro toy quad).
For those looking for a faster quad, I'd suggest the H108 spyder, also on sale. It's the exact same model as the H107L only with a different body, and it's $11.25 with coupon.
Don't buy these individually!! : shipping fees are just crazy! Free shipping for orders over $50.
I just bought four H107P hornet with this deal for future gifts.
Hubsan just released an updated H107P (does not appear to be available in the US yet) and H107C+ (available from miflydrone and hubsanus on eBay and Amazon). No cosmetic changes but they have much faster rate than original one, closer to that of the H107L. Altitude hold is also working much better now. The new version of the H107P also comes with the same controller as the H107C+ with thumbpad instead of sticks. The ones they are selling now are still the old models.
