You can sign up for the $50 a month service and then after first month cancel it entirely or drop it down to the $10 a month roam service. Which is basically pay as you go for every GB you use over 10gb is $2 per additional GB.

they don't have this roam 10GB option anymore

Why would one sign up and then cancel? Is that to get on a $2 per Gigabyte usage scenario?

I read the new updates. Standby mode provides up to 500 KB speed but if you stay in that state for 12 or more months starlink may require you to upgrade to a plan or pay a fee.
