What's really dumb is people downvoting a good deal just because they don't like Elon. Some of us rely on Starlink to be connected to the world and it's a shame these deals get missed because people have an agenda. Up and down votes should be if the deal is good or not.

Nobody is preventing people who are looking for starlink products from finding them here. There is no obligation to upvote products to the front page if you don't like them for whatever reason.

I could choose not to say anything.
I downvoted, it's not because I don't like Elon. I think he is a very successful man, I won't downvote because of his political views.
1: T-Mobile offer free gateway, you just have to ship the device back. Starlink want you pay 300 for the device.
2: T-Mobile offer $300 gift card. Starlink offers 0 signup bonus, do they charge a setup fee, or congestion fee?
My conclusion is T-mobile wants customers desperately, thus offer better incentives. They have to compete with spectrum and other landline internet companies to get customers. Starlink does not. For some people starlink is basically the only choice, thus starlink doesn't have to offer a better deal
Again, I don't have to say anything. I just want to point what you said is not true ' What's really dumb is people downvoting a good deal just because they don't like Elon'(sounds like gaslighting). 'If you don't like someone's product, it's because you don't like that person's politic view'. I know you would disagree.
I have another question, why Elon's Tesla doesn't build $25000 cars. Is it because pointless and silly like Elon said, or that was an excuse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeUIAH_zKeY
I think he doesn't want to build $25000 cars, because if he did, there would be less people buy his $50000 cars, they would buy $25000 cars instead. There is not as much profit in $25000 cars

I am not a fan of Elon or his political views. I own none of his products although I did at one point look into Starlink as a travel option.
Which is where I feel some of the comparisons above fall flat if downvoting this particular deal because of comparisons to TMobile or whatever. This particular deal is for the Starlink Mini, which you would not buy to use at home typically. This is more for RVs/Boats/road warriors that might otherwise try to use a Hotspot service.
At least as far as I can tell with Tmobile and most of the home internet plans noted, they are GPS locked and your service can be canceled if you are caught using it in multiple locations. This specific Starlink unit, the Mini, is mainly meant to be used with their Roamer plan that allows you to use it on the road.
So a better comparison would be with TMobile Hotspot plans and buying the Hotspot itself. Or using the Hotspot option on your existing cell plan. But again Starlink is aimed more at those in situations where cellular coverage can be shaky, like in a lot of RV campgrounds and out on the lake.
So while Elon sucks, it's important if you try to make an alternative point about the value of this specific deal, that you understand the product. I only looked into it because we use hotspot a lot when we travel and trying to get a service that works great everywhere has been tough. Right now I have a Verizon hotspot and added the business data plan to my iPad which gives us Unlimited data for $10/mo, which is hard to beat, but when we are traveling to some areas the coverage is basically zero. So something like Starlink would bypass that limitation.
But... Elon sucks. So while I honestly want this product, I won't be buying. That said, if he ever detaches (or is detached) from all this stuff and we can come back to discussing it on its merits, it has some decent advantages.
If you have a Home Depot Credit Card, check to see if you received a coupon for 10% off an in-store purchase or online order of $299 or more (not single item, but total cart).

Killer deal, thanks OP. Not sure why all the downvoting.
I could have sworn there was like a graph that shows a poll of the reasons why people td. If it's "poor merchant" then maybe it is about him. Who knows..

Starlink isn't excluded.
