The Military EXCHANGE / Army and Air Force Exchange Service has a link with Home Depot I just learned about where you can get stuff tax free (veterans only). I ordered a Mini shipped for $299 without tax.

Can't you just order it with Military discount via HomeDepot for 10% off, which is a higher discount than any state tax % ?

Also as a note for awareness, the ROAM subscription plan needed for these is like $150-$170 per month.

Never owned the mini. I own two of the original ones, but unfortunately we've never gotten the advertised speeds out of them. I wonder if the new ones do better?

I just made a purchase a few days ago from the Home Depot exchange link and it had the 10% off and no sales tax.

It's unlimited, just slow. Standby isn't meant to be used as a primary plan, hence the name.

Just bought from Best Buy yesterday and using it today with a DIY rear window suction mount on the back of my Prius. I'm traveling from AK to CO and it's been a game changer. Also a bonus 30 days of free service with a referral! Been loving it.

Posting this from the middle nowhere in the Yukon!
