A good deal if you need the nailer.

Not good if you want to use it for more powerful nailers or other tools. Some take 100 and this tops out at that so might not quite get to 100. Even if it does it will not stay at it for long.

There are many tools that take less than 100. Only some take 100 or more. If you want to use them you will need a more powerful air compressor. I got one for $50 that gets up to 130 but it is larger. I have another smaller one for nailers like this one comes with. So it still makes sense possibly to get this one then get a larger one later if you need a more powerful air compressor. Even mine will not power some tools.

Yup. Just don't over inflate. Get a good gauge, or buy an inflator tool with a built in gauge to use with the compressor.

If you just want one just to inflate tires or use a nailed grab one from HarborFreight for $39-$49 with the coupon.

It should be good enough for what it comes with. It should pump up a tire fairly fast. You could get it to 100 and still pump up most car tires without electricity.

Just do not expect it to work on all tools. Any needing 100 this will not work on a top of 90 because it would not stay at 100 long enough. Even at 90 you might need to wait to use it for it to get up high enough. So you could do a nail then have to wait for the next one. Not with the nails it comes with. I doubt you would have to wait except when you first turn it on.

For all those asking, yes, this will inflate tires but it is not what it was designed for. It is a maintenance-free specialty compressor (like a pancake comp for roofing) that is meant for "impulse" type work ... such as pounding nails. The comp has small tanks and puts out a measly 0.7 CFM at 90 PSI.

There are other types of compressors that are acceptable for almost all types of work. This is not meant to inflate tires ... go buy one meant for that purpose. You will be happier taking that route ...

Yes but you would still need to buy the hose inflator and nailer. It has a three gallon tank so it would also be larger. But most likely it would all not add up to $89. Not sure it is as good a air compressor. However three gallons would fill a larger tire without electricity.

It comes with the tire inflator. So not at all why you say it is not meant to inflate tires. It would inflate them much faster than those meant to inflate tires and you can change the pressure so it will not overinflate. It does not matter what it can do at 90 PSI. Perhaps some trucks have that high but automobiles are seldom above 40. It is 1.5 at 40.

If I want a simple brad nailer for amateur weekend woodworking, I assume this would do the trick? I don't want to only be able to drive 3 or 4 nails before it needs to fill again.
