Hey Slickdealers! I'm actually one of the developers of Wulverblade, which is also on sale as of today (Not listed in the post, shame on you OP! ) As a long time lurking Slickdealer, I've never posted but I feel I must let you guys know about my game!
It's a side-scrolling beat-em-up set in ancient Roman times (120 AD) inspired by the classics such as Golden Axe, Final Fight, and Streets of Rage. You play as warriors from the north, defending your land from the Roman invasion We grew up playing all those awesome games, and Wulverblade is our love letter to the memories of our childhood. We wanted to make a game that had great feeling combat and a hearty challenge like the classics, but modernized with HD graphics, animations, cinematic storytelling, voice acting, etc. Our creative director is a huge history buff, and based the game's story on real historical events and people. There are hundreds of unlockable items hidden across the game where you can learn about the history of the time period. We traveled to the locations and took photographs and created short video documentaries on the different battle sites, fortresses, villages, etc. still standing today (often in ruins). Wulverblade has something for everyone, definitely check it out.
It's on sale because we're celebrating a major patch that adds:
added Boss Checkpoints
added Easy Difficulty Mode
added Beast Game Mode
Performance optimizations
Improved loading times
Bug fixes for issues reported by the Switch community (thank you guys!)
I invite anyone who's looking to get a new game on Switch to consider checking out Wulverblade at the 33% discount, I think you'll be quite surprised by a game you've never heard of!

The game is a broken unfinished mess last time I played it on the vita. I'd suggest you look at some gameplay and decide if you wanna throw money at it.
If I'm trying to decide between Dig 1 & 2, would you recommend 2 first as well?
I played through all of dig 1 on PC and had a great time, while I don't usually complete games. Picked up dig 2 on switch a while back and it's just not pulling me in as much. It might just be because I got enough from the first one, but I feel like there's just some of the cute appeal missing in 2 and that it's just about bigger levels and more stuff. It doesn't have the same sense of discovery, probably because they assume you played the first one anyway.
If you've never played a Steamworld game, I'd go with 1 then 2 and maybe Heist. (That last one feels like a near miss, though)
Thanks for all the advice, I appreciate the input, even if I'm getting conflicting direction. I'll likely only get to play one of the games, so it sounds like 2 is the way to go.

I'd say Dig 2 first. Then do Dig 1 if you like Dig 2. There is no continuation/timeline.
I played Dig 1 first, and really enjoyed it. Dig 2 is a much better game, and I probably wouldn't have gone back to 1 if reversed the order.
So if you plan to do both, start with 1. If you only have time for a single game, do 2.
Yeah, the opposite advice of the guy above. Oh well.
