The 2018 is newer, and offers black frame insertion to add blur to 24 fps content to reduce stuttering during panning shots.

Additionally, the C series has a different bezel and has 2.2 speakers for Atmos support directly from the TV, where the B series just has stereo speakers (but can still output 5.1 Atmos via ARC).
