Based on all the comments, sounds like this drive can be taken out and used in a NAS? I would like to use mine in a Synology NAS.

You should jump on the easystore drive for NAS (for red or white shucked drives) since at $136 , its the 2nd lowest ever.

Yeah I messed up. I only realized now that the Easy Store has the better drive and these probably only have the WD whites. Want to run them in Synology NAS.

Ebay cancellation very iffy.
