I've seen them in store in MD not sure about the sale price here yet. Anyone have any experience with this set?

Yes, returned one. These have a black finish that came off in my hand. They are also an old design that doesn't have a quick release for the sockets.

This is probably a better set for $89:

It really depends, I think Costco's is better because of those wrenches.

I owned both sets actually. I bought the home depot dwmt7500 for 100 and this for 85 from costco. Disliked the wrenches from the costco one a lot.. no quick release, and fingerprint magnets. Just felt lower quality. Returned and kept the dwmt7500. Still using it after a year.. no issues and love them.

Returned mine to Costco for the same reason, the black finish peeled off on the first use.

That HD one looks similar to the set Costco sold last year. I got the Costco version and I freaking love it. Way better than the Husky tools I'd been using. I'd assembled various things piecemeal and wanted a set in a case to easily grab in garage when wrenching on my car.

It's been great. I'd definitely get the HD set (or equivalent) over the OP set.
