No Thunderbolt 3. Only has two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports. This lack of connectivity is what kills it for me. Should have at least one Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C Gen 2 port. This refurbished model doesn't even include the Asus minidock, so there will be additional expense to add ports.
No USB type A to use flash drives or other USB accessories.
No memory card reader.
Asus pen not included, either.
Hp is one of the worst brands for reliability in laptops.
As far as know if this laptop still uses same build from 7th gen cpu, its ips with no PWM and only USB-C no Thunderbolt 3 support. Also the ssd is sata3 not pcie

This folds flat, which for me is a must for a 2-in-1. That's good. Also, the blue color looks very nice. Specs look good. 2.42 lbs looks good. Just two unknowns:

I was debating between this and the dell XPS13 deal. The CPU and the $200 difference (after Dell charging me tax) got me to pull the trigger on the Asus. Dell gives a 1 year warranty, while this has only a 90 day, plus the other one was sold by dell. I'm still not sure if I made the right choice. How good are the refurbs by this eBay seller?

They probably use DDR3 to save battery juice. A few other ultrabooks still use DDR3, if i recall correctly.
I completely understand why you would ask. DDR3 always looks wonky to me as well.
