Still use it weekly, great colors but very noisy.

Thanks my friend. I was looking at this for PS4.
I had to be careful with mounting my Epson 2045 and use correct height - perhaps it is one of the few that doesn't have that functionality?
The 2150 is 3LCD which is preferred over DLP (IMO). I had originally bought this Viewsonic, but returned without opening and got the 2150 even though it was more money. I can also add that my 2150 stopped powering on with about 5 months use, which was a big disappointment, but I called Epson and they sent me a brand new replacement (new bulb even) OVERNIGHT. I didn't even have to give them a credit card for the replacement. Return label in the box and by far the best customer service I have ever had with anything electronic. They earned a customer for life!
The 2150 is 3LCD, which arguably provides a better image, quieter operation, and lower risk of mechanical failure than DLP. I think DLP is going to be retired tech soon.
In addition, contrast ratio on the 2150 is 60,000:1 vs 22,000:1 on this projector. It also has a quieter fan and longer lamp life.
I have had an Epson for 3 years and can say it performs really well. No complaints. For $400 though, it's hard to argue with this ViewSonic. It's on the lower end, but it's a really good price from a reputable brand—probably the cheapest full HD projector on the market.
