great deal! I love Safari and fortunately get a subscription paid by my employer. I think it is one of the things that any developer/programmer/coder/engineer needs to get because of its tremendous value. Most the latest tech books are available there. Very cool live and ondemand training programs. Strata conference recordings and more.

Does an ACM membership include full access now?

Same. My employer has a subscription for all of us. This deal makes me appreciate it more.

Also check local library. My city library gives access to safari books through library account.

Just came in to say safari is the best resource for tech, management, projects management and overall corporate learning material. Get it through employer and it's an absolute must have for anyone working corporate.

Yes, an ACM Membership gives you FULL ACCESS including logging in to the Safari Queue App.

IMO, The access through ACM (number of books, courses, etc. ) seems limited compared to the level of access granted to a corporate customer.

What is the difference in course material? Is there a way to compare the ACM membership vs this membership? My cousin's kid has access to k-12 material through his school, but I was not aware they are limiting access on adult memberships.

I've been an ACM Member for over a year and didn't know about the Safari Books online membership, wow.

A professional ACM membership is $99/year… Safari Online is $400 year retail, $200 as in this thread. How are they providing the same access for 4x less? Just relying on the fact that few ACM members probably know about it?

Unfortunately no way to download the ebooks for offline reading... Flipping page by page just while being online is nice but I prefer to download a chunk and read that.

Thank you so much for mentioning ACM, I checked them out on my phone and they are offering 25% off first year membership, but strangely on PC it's only 16% off membership, not sure why there's a difference, and then if you wander around their site you'll eventually see no deal for membership.

Last year it was $99/year and just before few months I renewed the subscription at $199/year. Now they bumped up to $399 (retail)😳. They have amazing books and online courses. In future it will be affordable only if your employer is paying for it.
