I just found out Buffalo wings are called that b/c they were invented in Buffalo, NY

I thought they were called that because of the buffalo sauce which was a type of hot sauce flavor. I feel a little more cultured now. I don't generally eat spicy foods because it does horrible things to my stomach and intestine so I never paid much attention.

With all due respect, this kind of provincialism, which is being encouraged and exploited by those of a certain bent to try to divide us as Americans, is poison to our body politic.
We should all strive to visit and understand our American brothers and sisters and experience all that our magnificent country has to offer.

At one time New York City was fairly high on my list of places to visit. That time has passed. There are areas in the northern part of the state I wouldn't mind seeing but truthfully, if I am going to be that far to the northeast I would rather just spend time in Maine again, especially on the coast.
London. There is lots of Buffalo and is sunny year round.
Do the deer and the antelope play there, too?
