These filters are certified by NSF 53, very rare for the aftermarket filters.

Most filters are only certified NSF/ANSI standard 42 for aesthetic non-health-related contaminants (chlorine, taste, odor). If you are not assure of your municipal water quality, we recommend you use NSF/ANSI standard 53 certified filters. These filters can remove health-related contaminants like lead, cyst, VOCs, etc.

Thanks, but I'm going back to GE branded ones (only sold by authorized sellers too). These Chinese Manufacturers and Chinese sellers cannot be trusted. Just because there is a NSF tested water filter with the same model number made by some factory in China, how can I trust that this company just didn't take some garbage filters and slap that model number on them? that is far easier than counterfeiting the whole GE branding because with this, there is nothing to compare against. It is a greenfield design and label. We are trusting someone who has shown at every turn to be untrustworthy. No more...

That's OK. Even at $37.99 for the advanced 3-pack, it's still a really good price. If you get the plus 3-pack, it's also NSF401 certified for $47.99. If you buy both, you get a 20% discount on the plus, making it $38.39. Much better than the Everydrop ones.

Once again no deal on the Whirlpool W10295370A EveryDrop filter. These are like $50 each time. If I do a payback period for how many I would likely go through it would be about 8-10 years, or 3-5 years if I factor in sale of my existing stainless steel fridge. Then I could get a newer fridge with much cheaper filter replacements. My fridge has to be one of the worst fridges on the market for filter costs.
