Thanks! Just a heads up, the BIAS FX Pro shows as $179.99 marked down from $199.99, and the coupon sort of implies $50 off of that, but it actually only takes $30 more off, so comes up to $149.99.

I hear ya. They are running a 20 off sale and taking an additional 30 off with code. Up to 50 off, kinda funny if you ask me.

It's just marketing I suppose. Still ended up buying tho. My old POD X3 still does just fine for playing, but interested to see how BIAS works out for recording and reamping.

It's been this price for a couple weeks for students as a back to school deal...I use their iOS version of both and really like them. I just can't justify $150 A PIECE for guitar software.

I'm just wondering if this is all I need to play/record my guitar with effects through my PC, or if I also need their amp software. I have a Behringer interface, and have used Line6 toneport software in the past, but this looks quite a bit better. I just want to make sure this will cover what I need without feeling like I need to spend more to get everything to sound right.

Thanks

Been this price pretty much since it launched. Seriously. I seem to get emails every other week with this price.

Haha long live the pod. Still use my X3 Live regularly, though it adds quite a bit of noise when I'm trying to record anything, and it always seems I just can't squeeze out the tones that I'm looking for.

But regardless, not going to get rid of it 😀

This price is nothing special. They have this price regularly if you sign up to their emails.

If you do your research, there's MUCH better software out there like S-Gear, Overloud TH3, Mercuriall just to name a few.

Inform yourself by hitting the forums like Gearpage and YouTube for comparison.
