When it comes to first person shooters, larger TVs are actually not that great. It is difficult to scan a large surface and identify a target. However, if you want a large TV, because you also want something nice to watch other content on, and aren't as nutty as I am about FPS then the next best and most important thing is input lag.
The same can be said for fighting games.
This tv has excellent low input lag
Now if you primarily play RPGs, story based games, dungeon crawlers the objective is shifted. In this case I dont care much about input lag and I want the best picture possible.
If you are playing PC games, your PC can easily do over 60fps then do not get a tv that cannot do 120fps.
Just wanted to point those facts out.
As far as blur is concerned, this tv isnt the best tv at motion handling and its not the worst. For consoles and nearly any type of game you will hardly ever notice any type of blur.
PC this might be different.
The TCL 55S405 $380 @ Best Buy, is a better TV for use as a PC monitor.

From my research so far the major differences are the number of contrast zones (local dimming ability)

About 400 nits. The others get much brighter. Good deal here for a medium to darker room.

So the tv is great. I managed to get a PS4 universal remote to control it. On top of that I got the bestbuy insignia soundbar and mounted that below it.
Currently its mounted to the ceiling with the soundbar mounted underneath it. Great tv and I love the setup I have for it.
