Volcano (active) is on the Big Island; and there is no Damage from a Hurricane on Maui
I have heard that there was some damage, but there was no landfall, so I imagine it was rain/flood/wind related.
And volcano isn't a realistic concern, but Vog from the big island can affect Maui. Not sure if that's an issue right now either, though.
