Skip this set. Way too many chips and miss aligned bits (especially the security bits).

Thanks for the info. Sounds like frustration in a case.

I cant believe I am about to say this - HF bits ain't half bad. The case is junk. Bits are good.

Both the HF sets are great
100 set https://www.harborfreight.com/100...62657.html (the plastic case is junk and will discolor even in the sun for one day or less)
32 set https://www.harborfreight.com/32-...68460.html (This is just an amazing set - I abused the shit out of it ans broke some bits -but my fault)

Here is my evolution on bits -
Dewalt bits have stood the test of time 15+ years
Kobalt bits not impressed at all
Husky bits - just junk as are their rachets
Craftsman bits - 50/50 some have been great others not so much. Love hate relationship here. This coming from a self proclaimed craftsman fan boy.
iFixit bits - I know every one loves them, I am not impressed. The craftsmanship on them is not what you expect from a premium bit set.

I find Milwaukee to be even better than Dewalt (less stripping), curious your thoughts since you seem knowledgeable.

I only have a small set of Milwaukee bits - that I dont use that much. So I cant make an informed recommendation. All my friends use Milwaukee - all have a love hate relationship. Which is odd.

I am cheap - I dont recall Milwauekee bits ever being on sale. Dewalt is my go to brand for bits. It is just heart breaking to witness the decline of Craftsman quality. Nearest Sears closed recently, and I am not taking it too well. I am a lot more careful and guarded when using Craftsman tools for fear of breaking/losing them. I know the Brand changed homes to Lowes, but Sears was Sears.

There is a reason why there are 300 pieces. They're all crap, so you kind of just burn through them. A few extras are thrown in so you don't feel cheated.

While bits are usually a numbers game, those craftsman bits are just trash. I would recommend just spending the money on quality next time.

This is coming up for $19.98. Either all the stores around me are different or they adjusted the price.
