If you have an Ollie's nearby, that store seems to be more closeout-based.
If they find they can get a faster turn out of BigLot private house brand kitchen bags at $4. and a 70% mark-up vs Zip-loc at $6. and a 30% mark-up, you're gonna see a lot less Zip-loc shelf space, possibly even see them phased out over time. Just Merchandising 101, especially now that house brands have become far more acceptable to the avg. consumer, not to mention quality of product.

They have always been a close out store, but this recent grand re-opening was more than just varying close-out inventory. They changed the whole store.
You just give them your phone number or email on your account every time you checkout. Phone number is more convenient for the employee and your time.
