Going to Las Vegas for 5 days for work. I'm married with kids, don't drink/party. What is worth seeing/doing while I'm there?

Yes, they do. But if you want the best damned chicken-fried steak in the United States, you gotta visit Texas. They simply don't do it nearly as well, as tasty, or as LARGE as they do down there. I really miss that stuff.

It's true. Really think it's the quality of beef from Texas makes a huge difference.

I've been to Vegas only 3 times, I'm going a 4th in Dec. Seems there are a few things we try to squish in. I have been there with different people each time so we sometimes do things I've done before.

In no particular order:
  • High Roller (there's a Groupon)
  • Paris Eiffel Tower Experience (Groupon)
  • Fremont Street Experience (take Deuces from Strip)
  • Binion's Hotel for free pix with million dollar stack (take the Deuces from Strip)
  • Venetian Hotel and checkout the indoor sky
  • Caesar's Hotel and checkout the art work - the David Statue was cool
  • Food - I prefer the Wicked Spoon to Bacchanal
  • Tournament of Kings at Excalibur - show and dinner (haven't done this yet but will be doing in Dec.)

I've been playing MyVegas to collect points to do the shows for free, I went to see Ka and it's not bad. I am debating if I want to see One or Absinthe in Dec. Both aren't going to be free. I wish Love wasn't blackout, otherwise I'd definitely see that.

Oh, we went to Criss Angel before and it sucked. So I don't really think I can recommend it. I hear Matt Franco at the Linq is good though. They had some discount tickets on Travelzoo but I think it's sold out now. Frown
