The other person is misinformed. This charger has Power Delivery, which will fast-charge your Note 9 via a usb-C to usb-C cable.
if you can forgo 1 usb A port, get the Monoprice 60W 4-Port USB Smart Charger [monoprice.com] for $22 + shipping. It supports PD 60W just on the USB C, unlike the 30W on this anker
not bad, i bought the aukey one for $36 a few months back

if you do get this to fast charge ur iphone u need to get a Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable

Would this be enough for note 9?

Would the regular USB port provide 15w each, and if so provide same charging speed as the apple 12w iPad charger? Have multiple apple devices and will use USB-C with iPad, hoping to get 15w fast charge for iPhone 8 Plus

Doesn't look like there is QC support, which is what you probably want for the note 9. It will be enough to charge it, but not at the speed you want.

Thanks!

Love it. Kids each have their own charger.

Amazon says newer version available, any comments on that?
Also when you charge your iPhone via usb c port (30 watts) does that mean it leaves just 30 watts for other 4 usb ports? (If u charge simultaneously)

That's wrong. Note 9 supports USB power delivery which this charger provides

i don't have note 9, but as far as i know, and based on my experience
Samsung's PD option will NOT give you quick charge. only QC2 or QC3 and Samsung fast charger will allow phone to be "fast charged".

do understand PD standard comes with many voltage/current settings, even 5V/2A is also considered to be PD, which is just a mundane standard that ppl has been using for ages and was standardized by QC1.

further more, if you opt for Samsung DEX, you NEED Samsung fast charger that came with the phone or the dex pad (which is actually NOT QC2/QC3..)

Yes, 60W max combined. The usb pd is capable up to 30W. But the iphone doesnt charge at 30W...i believe its around 18W, ive got this and a mcdodo usbc to lightning cable and it charges fast af on my iphone 8.

Any idea what's the difference between this and the newer one?
