In Texas these are independent liquor stores and a membership is not needed but my friend and I both found this for $159 in houston and dallas. This is normally $199-219 at other stores.

You can't wrong with any in the Balvenie family. I bought my Caribbean cask for about $100 locally.

Total wines in NY has the carribean cask for $56 in store.

Balvenie Doublewood is my all time favorite. They also have Triple Cask which is only duty free item. My state laws don't allow rebates on liquor and everything that Costco sells in terms of brand name liquor directly is heavily regulated by state. Kirkland liquor brand they can sell whatever whenever. Costco will shut everyone down if they let them run amok in terms of brand name liquor sales and pricing power.

Love the Kirkland single malt every year though. They keep on changing it a bit every year in terms of age and region.

That's a good deal. This bottle has been creeping up in price into mid 60's from the mid 50's in FL. $67 at Total Wine down here right now.

I agree for $50, balvenie double wood is one of the best single malt I have personally tried including maccallan gold and 12. I do like Kirkland single malt but they are heavily replaced by their speyside and blended that I am not fan of.

Kirkland had blended 27yr old 40% ABV and 18yr Speyside 46% ABV last year. Now they have 20yr Speyside 46% ABV. I was told some 18yr single malt coming this year. Don't know if it's speyside or highland. Maybe who knows lowland this year. I like Speyside malts personally. But to each it's own. Sometimes they have Glenmorangie Original, Lasanta and Quinta Ruban 3 pack for $110.
