I kind of just want to go yolo and do 32gb of ram, my Sandy Bridge i7 with 8gb DDR3 just isn't cutting it anymore with about 40+ Chrome tabs opened :/

Couple chrome tabs, Android Studio, and a Plex server and you can kiss the first 16GB away. Just upgraded to 32G, really only need 24, but I'm dual channel.

This ram is really good if you got the money to waste, NAND price has crashed significantly and DRAM is just starting to fall so if you can wait, you can get this for much lower next year

I have 32gb ram, when I render video edits, I end up with 12gb unused. And that's with nothing else open.
