Seeing that 75" in person I'd have taken it over a 55" OLED , maybe even a "65 OLeD . Issues like viewing angle losing color and contrast doesn't seem to apply to 75-85 inch TVs... the sheer size makes them look brighter plus the fact that LCD gets brighter in HDR than oled, and the fact that the 77" OLEDs cost three times as much, yeah if you can afford a $2000 TV I'd take a 75 LED over a 55 OLED. Visit a Best Buy with magnolia to see it.

My X900b blew up (paid $3500 when it first came out). I had extended warranty with PC Richards and they are giving me 2k to spend.

What tv should I get? The 900f? 940e? Or go for an OLED?

After spending so much money on the 900b, I'm very hesitant on spending 4k+ on a new tv... 65 inches if that matters.

Thanks all

This, but the 900F is a very good TV.

The very best picture quality you can get in a 65" is hands down going to be the 900F. If you go OLED, you'll have to compromise on size...

Thank you for your feedback.

If it picture is much better on an OLED TV, I might bite the bullet and upgrade. We have FIOS and mostly watch tv shows and sports. No dvd's, blurays, gaming etc.

Should we wait for BF though? Or Christmas? We are "stuck" with PC Richards and most likely won't take advantage of any of the SDs here.

Thanks for all the advice.

Will the price go down during BF.
I don't want to spend 2K plus on TV it's not just worth when technologies changing so rapidly.
Will this TV be discounted more than 900 on BF? Doubt.

PCR usually has good deals around black Friday and will usually match price around the tri state. You can always see if the company you work for has a discount with them and you may be able to use it if you were given a giftcard. They only certain forms of payments.

Solid deal on the 55" and 75"! I really wish they would have a sale on the 49" but that never seems to go on sale :|
