go to http://www.travelers.com/additionalbenefits an put in your homeowners policy number to see if you qualify and can get a code to order on Amazon. I received something in the mail informing me to look at this and it gave me a free code. Order went through without any problems. It appears they are giving away thousands of these. YMMV

The Travelers Companies Inc. estimates that its catastrophe losses relating to Hurricane Harvey, including estimated recoveries from reinsurance, will be in the range of $375 million to $750 million pre-tax ($245 million to $490 million after-tax).
The company has temporarily suspended common share repurchases while it assesses losses from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, a move the company said is consistent with the capital management strategy it employs during periods of significant catastrophe activity.
They need cash, only way to generate it is to reduce claim payouts.

Thanks, worked for me. I just switched to Traveler's about 2 months ago. At least I'm getting something out of it.
I noticed the breakdown of the discount is as follows:
Qualifying offers:
AudibleFireTv
Travelers Promo
What is that AudibleFireTV thing? Is it signing me up for something?

Avoid this company, not worth a free Echo
Nobody is going to get a new Traveler's Homeowner's policy to get this Echo Dot. If you happen to already have Traveler's then it's a free item.
Also, every insurance company has bad reviews from people, some people have good experiences while others don't. You can't live without insurance so you just have to pick your poison.
The Travelers quotes are amazing, just don't have a claim and your good
Yes, I've read that same comment from every insurance company when I was looking for quotes. You're not the first person to be upset with an insurance company.

Probably best just to edit you comment and add whatever else you have to say to the same post.

Sounds like you know your way around a policy....so I have a question if you would.
I have Allstate because they're cheapest by far but with high deductibles (low monthly payments). Contractors I've talked too say they have a hard time getting Allstate to approve claims. On the other hand they say State Farm approves claims much easier. I received a State Farm quote recently and I would be paying twice as much a month for the same coverage. So I've been wondering, I know I need a new roof soon so would it be a good idea to join the expensive State Farm now with low deductibles (high monthly payments) and hope a hail storm moves in asap, file a claim then run back to Allstate the following year?
