RMA tracker (for trade-in): https://manage.my.t-mobile.com/Tr...evice.aspx

Reward tracker (for rebate card): https://promotions.t-mobile.com/OrderSearch

WARNING !! : New terms state no cancelled lines in the last 90 Days !!
Extended expiration until 11/26 Monday

Existing Customers:
Add a line
Get the phone you want
new iPhone Xr/Xs/Xs-Max WILL Lock to TMobile upon Activation

Submit trade-in
Wait for prepaid card (6-8 weeks)
Wait for trade-in value in your statement (6-8 weeks)
Cancel the line

So your out of pocket cost would be: Cost of the phone - $750 + keeping the line for two months (~$40-$60)

Rebate Amounts when you Trade-In:
$300: iPhone 7, 7 plus, 8
$200: iPhone 6s or 6s plus
$100

Trade-in Phone or IMEI of trade-in must be brought to the store during purchase
I learned the hard way today as I was trying to get the offer and find a trade-in phone on Cragistlist later; however, they could not process the transaction without an IMEI.

There is a $50 rebate, if you activate a T-mobile line at Costco and trade in a device by end of Nov 21. See attached image for details. My mistake, the two deals can't be combined. https://www.mypromochoice.com/promo_query.php

iPhone XR SKUs (obviously for Tmo):
64GB White: 1285334 Price: 699.99
128GB Black: 1285342 Price: 749.99

1285342 - iPhone XR 128GB Black $749.99
1285353 - iPhone XR 256GB Black $849.99
1285311 - iPhone XS Max 256 Black

With the SKUs you can call 1 store and talk to the front desk to find which other stores have stock!

If you did not get the shipping label from Costco, you can get the Shipping label from the t-mobile website by entering your RMA. RMA number is in the printout given form the costco

Missing a few things from the title, OP:

Minimum 2 total lines required, trade-in required. Not much of an SD.

This is stupid on T-Mobile's part. I understand the phone trade-in, but requiring an iPhone to be traded in alienates some potential customers that would've been open to jump ship from Android.

Yeah lots of hoops to jump through here...trade in, new lines, t-mo...guess it'd be good if you were planning on doing those things anyway while upgrading.

I think it should be easy to cancel the line after getting your rebate card AND one-time bill credit for a trade in if you buy it from Costco.

If you buy it from T-mobile directly I believe the credits come in for 24 months bill credits.

it might very well be apple's requirement. after all, t-mobile is just an executor.
