Huawei's BF savings just started today and they're running $150 off the i7 Matebook X Pro.
I've been watching these for a few months and missed out on them when they were
$1200 back in July. This deal is not as slick but it's the best discount I've seen since then.

Curious to hear other's thoughts on this price and whether we'll see $1200 again in the near future. I'm on the fence about buying at this price but I've been itching to get one of these. Bought a Matebook D from the Walmart sale a couple months back and have been very impressed.

Also, Microsoft has the most generous return policy (no restocking fee and a long return window). If you know you are buying it 100%, you can purchase Xbox gift card(for online purchase) or Microsoft store gift card(for in-store purchase). It should save you another ~10%. Just google gift card wiki

I think this is a discount directly from Huawei. I am sure Newegg will have the same price soon. Be aware of Newegg's return police and 15% restocking fee
This is generally just going to be a laptop to watch movies, netflix etc and type up/store documents for work. No fancy video/audio editing but I do want an amazing screen which is why I am down to the MBXP, Dell xps 13, and X1 carbon. I was looking at the 15 versions of Dell/Lenovo (xps 15 and x1 extreme) they both look so much bigger than the xps 13 and x1 carbon. Unfortunately I couldn't find a store to physically handle the MBXP.
Literally never been proven on a single device.
