You can look at price history and it doesn't really go down this low. You could get the Dell 144 1440p but that's a TN panel. I really don't think this nor especially the pg279Q will get lower than this. If no taxes this is a no brainer with taxes I think this is still good.

Love mine. Perfect sweet spot for size, image quality and synced fps and you don't have to chase the 4k performance ghost. Just make sure you know how to properly use and enable Gsync. And don't forget to change the refresh rate in Windows, too ��

I've been waiting on one of two monitors. The other is the Acer 144hz IPS which went on sale for $430 two weeks ago. I'm waiting on the clock to strike 8 est to grab this. I would advise getting the warranty based on the small chance of failure down the road. Most of the sales have been around the bullseye with VA panels, 60hz, 6bit panels, etc. I wanted IPS with 144hz+... and I have to pay tax.

Sad I have same pain. no sure if that is juicy enough to pull the trigger.
I want IPS 144hz+ (plus G-Sync in the case) but I am not sure if there is or will be better deal in BF :p

I wonder how much difference will be noticed with this refresh rate vs a 100hz for games like Battlefield. I'm eyeing a 34" curved 1440p Ultra wide but it is only 100hz and I wonder how much difference 165hz would make and if it is worth sacrificing the Ultra wide for. Any input is appreciated!!!
