careful with MSRP listed, many are vastly inflated. Also most seem to be 3rd party re seller so tread carefully...

This is a good price. Normal price everywhere is $349. The lowest price I could find in SD archives was 20% off of that, when eBay had the 20% off coupon and vmInnovations offered EV3 via eBay. The vendor here is also vmInnovations. I used them once, through eBay with that same 20% off coupon, on the big boy Husqvarna backpack blower (which is awesome). Good experience - the blower was on my doorstep the day after ordering.

ferrari360 - I have the same concern. Almost 6 years in on EV3 and there was, I think 6 years between NXT and EV3. But if the boy gets much older, he won't want to play. Buying now.

That vendor is very legit. Ships ultra fast and will honor pricing errors as well. I buy from them a lot. But by all means, if you think they aren't great beings a 3rd party don't buy. It's the 3rd parties who keeps prices low.
