  • Incredibly bright ultrathin monitor in its class with Corning Iris™ Glass light-guide plate (LGP).
  • This beautifully designed ultrathin monitor can enhance any room with its super sleek profile at only 5.5mm at its thinnest. Indulge in an expansive viewing experience with a virtually borderless InfinityEdge display.
  • Peak brightness of 600 nits
  • Dual HDMI ports
  • Laptop Magazine's Editor's Choice (earlier this year)

This is a productivity monitor - it's 60Hz, but it is one of the best QHD IPS panels out there with 400nits of brightness avg and 600 peak.

It's the best price this monitor has seen.

The limiting factor on this particular monitor is the input types (HDMI only), and that is because of the ultra-thin form factor.

If you want more I/O, but still want this form factor, look at the S2719DC. It has USB-C and HDMI, with a 2 port downstream USB hub. It's also DP1.2 compliant over USB-C, so if you have a newer high-end laptop, you can deliver data & video over a single cable. I bought that version, but it was obviously more expensive.

FYI Stand is not detachable. No VESA.

I've been waiting for 2718d for a while now. I can go for 2719DC if there is a deal out there.

Hard to believe monitors with these specs are selling at this price. Monitor prices were at a standstill for like 10 years. I think all the competition between freesync and gsync and new 4k panels have reinvigorated the market

I got mine from Dell direct, and with the AMEX $60 off $300 deal, it brought my price down to around $300 with the extra 5% MPP discount. Incredible price for a USB-C monitor with an awesome display.

I really debated about getting a quality 4K IPS panel and USB-C, but I did not want to spend over $500 for a monitor.

If you don't need USB-C and can live with HDMI only, then this thread's deal is also a great price,

I'd order this right now if it had VESA...I don't know if I want to give that up.

Pretty standard way the industry tries to differentiate models so they can sell others at higher prices.

No height adjustment, swivel only, no VESA, no DVI.

Nice image though.
