GoFundMe advice

I am NOT asking for money for my campaign. I am asking for brainstorming on how to get this going to help me get my family back on its feet.
I was the victim of a home burglary on Thanksgiving Day. I don't have Renter's Insurance (don't want to go into the reason why here) and lost pretty much everything. My GoFundMe to help my family get back on its feet hasn't really gotten anywhere. I am looking for advice on what to do to help it get out and spread and maybe find people that are willing to donate to the cause.
I have a former Playboy Playmate (from 1969) that opened the GoFundMe for my family. She has posted it on her Facebook fan page.
The campaign lists what happened, a list of some of the things that were taken and videos from the security system that were directly uploaded to the Internet that were completed before the network router was taken down. It has a list of things that needs to be replaced and an estimated cost. It goes into the background of each of us and what we have done for the community. There is a link to a "newsboard" type site where the issue is openly discussed and even mentions someone needs to do a GoFundMe but nobody did anything. The campaign states that there were other funds donated through another organization but that paid for the replacement of passports and a few other things not listed that are not part of this campaign.
There are photos of the police report with redacted sections of the full address, a couple of last names and signatures. I don't want people to know our full address nor the last name of a friend that helped us. Signatures were blocked out for obvious reasons.
Can you think of anything else that might be tried to help us?

OP - you're in a shitty situation, good luck!
When people WANT to help, they do. But expecting people to help you replace your things is a little different than benevolent help.
I am willing to bet that the amount of charitable work and volunteer hours well surpasses 99% of Americans and definitely the amount you have in the last 10 years. You think I am looking for a handout when the truth is that I am looking to get the minimum amount to enable me to continue the work I have done for the poor and needy. Just how many hours of documented charitable work have you done in the last year? I have done over 2500 hours of it - all documented by various organizations throughout the United States and overseas.

Mexico, where I am now and have spent the greater part of the last 15 months, you cannot get a renter's policy unless you have Temporary or Permanent Residency or are a citizen. That is why I couldn't have a policy written for Mexico specifically. Check with your own insurance agent about the "Away from home" coverage and how it works. Then ask them about getting renter's insurance in Mexico. They will tell you the entire process and what I said is true.
NOTE: When you visit sites that offer renter's insurance in Mexico, they do not tell you that you cannot get coverage while on a 180 day "tourist" card(FMM). They will ask for the residence permits at the time of when the coverage goes into effect. Anyone telling you that you just need a FMM is full of it. Mexico's laws say something entirely different and if you try to file a claim and only have a FMM it will be denied.
It's crazy how many people are asking for donations.
Went to the cvs earlier and bam the salvation army lady with the bell was at the door then the walmart
also had one. Even the local chicken place drive thru was asking for a donation.

In any event, OP can get the stuff he needs from Costco, Then return it before the bill comes due. Rinse, cycle, repeat.
Better yet, he can form a caravan of PhD students and professors and all march to Honduras 🇭🇳.
If you really want the physical hardware, hit up ewaste companies. I've sent hundreds of devices to recycling that would be all you need and more.
Editing for an add on. The computing equipment may be funded by the National Science Foundation and National Park Service as they are for other projects. Get that grant going.

You're right, I don't volunteer, but this isn't a penis measuring contest, and if it were, I'd win based on the number of lives I save on a yearly basis
