GoFundMe advice

I am NOT asking for money for my campaign. I am asking for brainstorming on how to get this going to help me get my family back on its feet.
I was the victim of a home burglary on Thanksgiving Day. I don't have Renter's Insurance (don't want to go into the reason why here) and lost pretty much everything. My GoFundMe to help my family get back on its feet hasn't really gotten anywhere. I am looking for advice on what to do to help it get out and spread and maybe find people that are willing to donate to the cause.
I have a former Playboy Playmate (from 1969) that opened the GoFundMe for my family. She has posted it on her Facebook fan page.
The campaign lists what happened, a list of some of the things that were taken and videos from the security system that were directly uploaded to the Internet that were completed before the network router was taken down. It has a list of things that needs to be replaced and an estimated cost. It goes into the background of each of us and what we have done for the community. There is a link to a "newsboard" type site where the issue is openly discussed and even mentions someone needs to do a GoFundMe but nobody did anything. The campaign states that there were other funds donated through another organization but that paid for the replacement of passports and a few other things not listed that are not part of this campaign.
There are photos of the police report with redacted sections of the full address, a couple of last names and signatures. I don't want people to know our full address nor the last name of a friend that helped us. Signatures were blocked out for obvious reasons.
Can you think of anything else that might be tried to help us?

LOL - do a search on "Lorrie Menconi Miss February 1969"
Wrong! We got video of the burglars in the act. It was recording directly to the Internet and stopped after they ripped the router out of the wall. They also left behind all power adapters. In this country, it is EXTREMELY difficult to get Clevo power supplies.
ZModo cameras cost less than $70 on Amazon. I bought them on sale before I went back to school.
Basically you are now blaming the victim for having things stolen. I gave up my job to come down here to help with a charitable cause - Earthquake relief. While doing that, I decided to start working on a PhD.
If you want to find out what is wrong with the United States, just look in the mirror. Greed, unwillingness to help others that are in need and much more are displayed in your rant. Our country used to care about their neighbors, rewarded people for helping others and a lot more. What happened to that United States of America? I remember it quite well from 20 years ago.
That was 1998 and things were alot different. It's time to come back to the US and MAGA .
Fallacy's list of people not liked:
1. Everyone.
2. Except Finzz
1. You have come to TL for help. A place that has an unspoken rule of "death to those that offer help". You didn't even put "No OT" in the title.
2. Go Fund Me is so overused that I don't know if anyone is legitimately getting anything funded anymore, even sick kids and funeral expenses. It has become a place for every whiney ex wife and people with hangnails. Good luck getting a dime.
3. Write a grant, appeal to a charity already invested in helping with relief efforts, or apply to a company that donates to groups like the love your working with (Cisco to kids, etc.)
4. You're in a shithole country. Invest in super duper locks. Lockboxes are crap is they aren't chained to something.
5. I do wish you good luck. I've been robbed and it indeed sucks. I too lost what I needed to make a living and I had to hustle up a new gig. I was 18 and on my own. Life lessons and all. It taught me a few. I would think about coming back to the US and starting fresh. Sometimes wake up calls are like a punch in the face. Maybe that's what happened to you. Sometimes you have to regroup.

I am willing to bet that the amount of charitable work and volunteer hours well surpasses 99% of Americans and definitely the amount you have in the last 10 years. You think I am looking for a handout when the truth is that I am looking to get the minimum amount to enable me to continue the work I have done for the poor and needy. Just how many hours of documented charitable work have you done in the last year? I have done over 2500 hours of it - all documented by various organizations throughout the United States and overseas.
If your learning for conservative cash...
1) Your a poor farmer from Iowa who is about to get the F-250 reprocessed from the evil chinese tariffs you can get by but need money to make your tithe.
2) You are bringing Jesus to the {insert place here}. Even better if you can really Jesus it up. The tride is southwest afganistan has never heard of the bible or Jesus and have really suffered by ....
3) You are tired of the funding being delayed for the wall, you and your buddies and going to do it your self and need cash to get the fence. Though in some Maga
The great part is you don't need to really provide facts and if anyone questions you just insult them.
If your going after liberal causes,
1) wounded kids from around the world.
2) oppressed women
3) women's clicnics in developing world.
What ever you don't dont mention science...
2. beat & stab it (burns might be good, too)
3. post pics of your handiwork on gofundme
4. collect $40k+
Example below (very graphic: do not click if delicate)
https://www.gofundme.co
(this is a joke. do not attempt).
ALSO: that geezer from 1969 has <2k followers on twitter. Her daughter isn't popular either. But at least her following is almost 30k, and her body is much less wrinkly/chunky. See whether she'll tweet your story to her fans.

People lose everything in hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters. The Red Cross doesn't buy them new things just clothes and a place to stay. You still have your house and family photos and mementos. Be grateful for that. GoFundMe takes part of the cut and doesn't advertise. First post is correct. You want "things" then go panhandle for it. If they catch the burglar then restitution will be required.
