In my opinion, the IP does a lot of things very well--but slow cooking isn't one of them. I use my IP and Slow Cooker in tandem

How the hell did a raccoon get into your kitchen? Or were u camping with your crock pot?

Is there even a point in getting one of these over an instant pot? (outside of the price difference)

Too funny. A raccoon just shattered the lid of our crockpot last night, this exact model. This is just a little bit more expensive than getting a replacement lid.

Lol, put the crockpot out on the deck to cool. Should have put it in the garage evidently. Funny thing is, this model has the locking lid. Raccoon figured out how to unlatch it .

You sure it was a raccoon? May have been a hungry neighbour

I agree with the slow cooker shortcomings on the IP. I love my IP, but it doesn't do the same as my Crockpot on the Slow cooker setting. My original intention was to replace my Crockpot with my IP, but I still is my CP as much as before.

This is actually BETTER! the way it can hold the lid and act as a serving container is awesome.

9.99$ shipping makes it a hmm though...

Two different products for two different uses. It's like comparing a corvette to a pickup truck.
