The difference is that the 850F has HDR support.
However, the reviews on the HDR seems to be that it's very poorly implemented.
So they're basically the same monitor. I got it for $320, fantastic monitor. Not as smooth as a TN 144hz (VA has a bit more ghosting and overshoot), but overall it's the best value monitor you can get, period. 32", 144hz, 2560x1440, VA, 48-144hz freesync. it is VERY good.
The difference is that the 850F has HDR support.

Nope, I'm not a (nor ever want to be) a professional gamer. In fact, pros get smaller screens with even higher refresh rates (240hz) with usually a purposefully washed out image to expose blacks.
Me? I'm trying to have fun and a smooth experience. More than sufficient. Since we're about 4-6 years away from running 4k at the same frame rate, this monitor is a stunning deal for a fantastic image.

I agree with you. This is a very good monitor for the price. I am using it now for PC and PS4 Pro. HDR looks pretty good on the Pro, especially with God of War and Spiderman. I'm sure there's better, but the choices for 32 inch monitors with HDR and 144hz is very limited. I just hope one day Nvidia will finally support Freesync 2.
