I think it means she lives in a location where the price is 1.99 for SR butter next week and I live in another location (NYC) where that price usually is higher (2.99) so YMMV on prices from her advert
TY I guess I shouldn't read these first thing in the morning

Actually reading them anytime you can think its the price youll get at your local SR but since I learned by experience NYC SR's are more costly than elsewhere and the circular prices posted here are from elsewhere that I wont be getting 1.99 butter lol

So, that's a loaded question. Tastes good, maybe a little creamier than regular Fage? But the biggest difference is it's sweetened with chicory root fiber/inulin (the regular Fage doesn't have any added sugar). I bought and ate it without looking carefully at the ingredients. BIG MISTAKE. I am for whatever reason really sensitive to chicory root fiber and actively avoid it due to the inevitable GI distress (it's not bad for you - it's a "natural" sweetener that's calorie free and adds a bit of fiber so a lot of better-for-you brands like to use it - it's also in Oikos Triple Zero - but yea, I'm apparently really sensitive to it). So I won't be eating it again! But I did buy more last night (the ibotta resets) that will go to my sister.
Thank you for that amazing reply. Saved me a trip from buying them. My stomach is also sensitive to the chicory root fiber substitute and I found out because I ate an Oikos Dannon Yogurt. I don't know if it was the Oilos Triple Zero one as you mentioned, I just know it was Oikos yogurt and it had that substitute after I read the ingredients. But I really like Fage's greek yogurt so I thought this would be just as good but I guess it's not for me. Thanks again and have a great week. Repped!

Butter is $2.99 here also...not just in NYC. I would have been surprised to see it for $1.99. We also don't have the russet potatoes for $.99. Haven't seen that price in SR for awhile. The potatoes are $1.99 here...and I was hoping for a good sale as I'm running low. Even Acme, which sometimes does have Idahos for $1/bag (I've gotten 3 lb. bags & even 5 lb. bags), hasn't had a sale in quite some time. Guess it's $1.99 for me.

I have to say that the last few bags of spuds picked up at SR sucked both in quality and overall size so I wont buy them there anymore even if 99 cents since sometimes we have another vendor nearby where they have a good sale on loose potatoes so at least I can handpick them for quality and size. Overall I have been finding my SR less appealing for produce in general and since their prices are no longer great and sales less attractive I have sought out other alternatives.

I imagine some of my view of SR now is tainted by the changes in coupon policy and their attitudes to couponers in general and yesterday was a prime example.
I had bought some Filippo Berio olive oil in April when they had a 50 oz bottle on sale for 5.99 and I had a 2 dollar ip. I went to use it that evening and the top which screws off literally broke in my hand and some of the oil spilled on me from being startled, so I put the oil in a bottle I have in my kitchen for storage and use.
I went to their web site and commented on my experience which was a first for me. No one responded and I forgot all about it. Two weeks ago someone responded and I quipped it was months ago I wrote and they replied no one was assigned this job and I just got it. She sent me 3 free olive oil coupons good up to 11.99 which expire the 12/31.2019. I saw yesterday SR had 50 ounce bottles for 7.99 so grabbed one and of course it took an army at SCO to get it processed and even then they tried crediting 7.00 in error. The FEM and the attendants were still discussing this coupon as I left the store. This experience is par for the course now at my local NYC SR. As many others here do I have curtailed my shopping there greatly and it used to be my go to grocer where upwards of 90% of my food budget went

Thanks, so maybe it's only a priceplus issue not getting transferred to the S* database.

I agree. It's been a week now and my purchases still have not credited.

No, it's not only a priceplus issue not getting transferred. My purchases from Stop&Shop and from Bj's about a week ago have not credited. Seems like others are having the same experience.

And I did find this mentioned on their website:
"Do SavingStar rebates stack with in-store discounts or manufacturers' coupons?
Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer's rebate for the same purchase. If you use in-store digital coupons it may prevent you from earning a reward for the corresponding SavingStar rebate."
https://savingstar.com/blog/frequ...#rebates14

I mean I've always used coupons before and got credit from S* still but I wonder if this may have something to do with it or some new change. I'm not sure.

This is the link for their timeframe of when purchases/savings will post to your S* account for each specific store affiliated with them if you or anyone was interested:

It's not only crediting that Savingstar has been lousy at , there are much less offers then they have (or good offers) had in the past. Checkout51 really has had a dearth of offers lately.

It could be but that's not the only product offer that is not being credited to accounts. I bought a couple of products from the "Always On Rewards" category and I still haven't been credited for more than a week now.
