Not a knock on your post OP, but even these refurb prices suck. PD is in general quite expensive. I bought slide light (new) from one of the many deals here on SD and while admittedly it IS a very good product sometimes you wonder if it is worth. It must be a boon for pros who are in the field for hours hauling various gear but for those who are not, cheaper solutions work the same.

Got a generic version with an adjustable neck strap for $6. Using it on my A6300 and they work great. There are cheaper options available for those that say peak prices are ridiculous.

Well, they are expensive for professionals too. The difference is in the small details and lifetime warranty.
