I believe that's 5 quarts vs. 6 quarts at Costco.

Anyone else waiting on the last Mobil1 rebate, they straight up denied me (with proper invoice) on the last day of eligibility and are now ignoring me when I escalated the the issue. This is not how a company should be treating its customers. It's deceptive and fraudulent.

Never had an issue and I have submitted four times over the last couple years.

Same here. I've never had any problem getting my Mobil rebates.

Received my $24 about one month ago with no issue.

On my last rebate I picked the "e-check" and after I deposited it, I got a stop payment on the check. So not only did I lose out on the rebate, I was also charged a fee from my bank. I contacted them a few times without response. I think I'm done with their rebates. I've decided to just stick with SuperTech synthetic [bobistheoilguy.com] because it is dirt cheap without a rebate. I'll still probably use Mobil 1 filters (or maybe the Purolator One)

"Non-Member 5% Surcharge", in case you are not a member.

I've had a couple of issues with my Mobil 1 rebates, but I always contact them back with revised information (sometimes I just add in the shipping receipt) and they always correct it and mail me the check. I'd never use e-check though, I don't trust any company that much!

I saw some people buying a case yesterday, but didn't know it was on sale. Had I known, I would have got some!
Especially since they have the 0w-40 European car formula!

Pennzoil is my preference. That yellow bottle.

Pennzoil has a $10 rebate going on now. Search the forum to see it

If you buy these things, I'm assuming you guys do your own oil change? For noobs like me, is there a place where they could use the oil I buy to do these changes and just charge me for the labor maybe?

Unless you have a personal friend, It would be very hard to find. I have had some minor success with getting transmission fluid done this way when I was apartment living. I had to find shops either in the ghetto or way in the country.
