It's a good deal and I did receive a 3rd gen and the keypad the last time they had this sale before the holidays but it took forever to ship. It sat in processing for 18 days prior to shipment so I'm not sure i'd bite if you need it now. I even reached out to customer service and they repeatedly told me it would ship within the week.

Just FYI. YMMV

The MassGenie deal doesn't include the August Smart Keypad ($55 value) so the price on tink is actually $13.50 cheaper. Plus the majority of states don't pay sales tax at tink!

Hi slyger, thank you for shopping at tink! It's possible that your purchase was during the Black Friday period and the August smart locks and accessories were in extremely high demand and back ordered. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience in the shipping speed and communication but we've improved greatly since then.

Right now there is an abundance of the Silver color in stock (but less so of the Gray). Orders placed today will ship within 1 to 2 business days!

Hmm you're right. I was thrown off by the bluetooth keyless entry (which just means the lock itself). Good deal!

It was and at the time of order your site had the same shipping speed. I understand the potential volume issues during the holidays but I expected some sort of communication. It was a Christmas gift and I couldn't get an answer on whether I would receive it prior to then from multiple CSRs.

If you are working on fixing that kudos to you

We have it. Works really well. The only problem I have is if you press the buttons too fast, it often thinks you typed the password incorrectly. That said, after over a year of ownership, between myself, my wife, family visiting, a housekeeper, and dog sitters, no one has ever had an issue where they couldn't get in via the keypad, used at least 4 times a day, so I wouldn't believe anyone saying it's unreliable. Batteries usually last about 3 months in it. I use the Eneloop AAA batteries in it. That said, I've never heard of this site. I jumped on the Massgenie deal and my second August Pro arrived yesterday.
