This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

You live in "Don't Mess Wtih Texas" land and think there is government inerference in private lives? Bigeye

FL is a great place to visit but too hot and humid in the summers. Hurricane season has me a bit Cold as well.

AZ again is a nice place to visit but dry heat is still heat. I don't care if it is dry 105 in April is the pits.

No worries I am ready to ditch SoCal before the end of the year. Back to the midwest. Crappy weather and all. But reasonable cost of living and family is there. heart
Let's see the state doesn't get an income tax return so they don't know my income, Our welfare benefits are pretty low to discourage people from living off the system, I can pretty easily get a conceal weapons permit, You break into my house and I can shoot first ask questions later without fear of penalty. Of course there are a few dry counties but they are getting fewer and fewer, and a few marshal law counties, but they also are facing more and more scrutiny for fairness. So yeah, Don't mess with Texas, we like it just fine the way it is.

Hi there! Yes T is opening in 2 cities on Oahu ,Hawaii today! 030409 is the soft opening and the 8th is the grand opening. One is the largest T ever . It is in a city called Salt Lake in the old Costco location there. Don't hate me.. have been to Hawaii 22 x' s.Because we fly free it is cheaper for us to take the foster kids or just us there than it is to go to Florida. Yep really. I went to the ENT againMad today... am on new meds/antibiotic etc. Getting ill put a damper on our Hawaii trip . We are now going in April since it is less windy and rainy then than it is in March. If any of you ever want to go there do go to Oahu where Waikiki beach is. It is less costly than the other islands. There is a great dollar store called Marakai too. Many things are free ...such as Pearl Harbor, and movies on the beach at Queens beach at least once per month on Sat. and Sun. I found a super deal for under $47per night in a private studio (clean but not glamorous..who cares!)1/2 block from the beach ..yep.. a great location etc...in March so we may go then too. Hotel/accomodation taxes are high.. 11.962%. Google and craiglist plus 2 non rev sites for airline employees are my best friends this month! They even publish a free magazine that shares 101 free things to do on Oahu. We think Hawaii is just heaven on earth and reasonable to us. Here are a few sites so perhaps one can at least visually go there..sweet dreams.. http://www.discounthotelshawaii.c...kimap.html
http://www.gohawaii.com/oahu/
you can wave at your relatives for free on this webcam at the beach in the heart of Waikiki.. the foster kids Loved this!http://www.honolulu.gov/multimed/waikiki.asp
I sincerely hope that any of you who desire to go to Hawaii will get there. You owe it to yourself. We plan to retire there. Many fruits and veggies are cheaper there than here. I love lychee fruit..yumm.

yea, they did just open a Target in Hawaii. I saw it on here a few weeks ago. They just opened their first CVS too but my storage unit has more inventory than that whole store!

This weather is making everyone sick! One day I wasn't wearing a coat because it was so nice then a few days later we get 6 inches of snow.. seriously, wtf?
Lol, i know my poor toddler was so excited to go out without a jacket, and then a couple days later, its a hat, heavy jacket, flannel lined pants....

It sure did look pretty though!

Barb, will you be my foster parent during the month of April? Teehee

I grew up on exotic fruits, and Hawaii has all those available! yummy

Thanks for sharing the deals and making it look affordable. To fly a family of 6, I need to find a job as a flight attendant, marry one or become Barb's foster kid. Rofl2
