This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

My Broiler is actually under my oven, so the heating element is ontop instead of on bottom of the food. Different stoves are different you'd have to look yours over, but mine is gas and it has a broil spot on the oven knob and a tray pulls out under the main oven. I know electric ovens can be different, my mom's has a storage spot where my broiler is, and she just moves her rack to the top position in the oven and puts her knob on broil.
ThanQ! mine is electric and there is a drawer on the bottom that I use for storage.............. hope thats what it is for.........

Secret That is what most people use it for...storage. laugh out loud I can count on one hand the # of times I have used my broiler and it was mostly for browning the top of my food for just a few minutes. Roll

mine had a broiler pan in it when we moved in, this was my clue it was a broiler not a storage spot, LOL. I had never had a gas oven before. We broil lots of things because the weather here in Texas is so weird we don't want to rely on the grill outside, so anything most poeple grill, I broil. Just remember to moisten your meat every 6-8 min I use my marinade to do this, turning my meat at the same time, and if I want to add bbq sauce I do so at the end putting it in the heat for only a couple of min at the end.

Just stopping by to say hi to everyone! wave

I have been turned off about going to target since that stupid GSTL and LOD issue last week. I went to a different target to do some returns yesterday (so I wouldn't have to see that stupid GSTL again) and I didn't even shop..I even returned my buddies bar soap since he wouldn't let my cashier adjust the price down on it.

I also went to K, to return some crap from my horrible first double run...and god was it ever a zoo in there OMG

Who wants to sign me up for an Old Navy coupon tonight, I have to go to my sisters birthday dinner...just kiddin! I'm hoping to get home in time to catch it.

So I just got done eating a YUMMY cake that J made for me while I slept in this am. I think it was a combo bday/Valentines Day cake since we didn't celebrate either of them yet. Anyways the cake he made is soo good. It is a 2 layer yellow cake with a layer of fresh bananas in the middle (I heart bananas) and then the frosting is a homemade one that is scrumptious!!!

J is AMAZING in the kitchen!! Everyone says so! He can cook soo many good things and bake them too! He makes homemade bread all the time. Beer bread was a good one he made! I am glad that he did this today. We have been arguing a lot lately, so I think this was his first step out of the dog house Wink

He can call DH and give him a few pointers. Actually DH has been really good since I got preggo. He's had a few moments but overall he has been very helpful with the housework and cooking and Mini Thrift.

We don't have those, but everyone always talks about them. I'm kinda jealous. DD brought home some homemade tomato basil soup with mozzarella from work for dinner. I'm toasting up some garlic bread. Comfort food yummy
