This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Have you done the WAGs deal this week for diapers/pull-ups? With the recent high value printables from coupons.com, plus the Glade/Sambucol overage, there's quite some deals to be had. Roll Roll

BTW, if there's anyone on right now, can someone please tell me to get my ass off the computer and out the door to go shopping? Pray

I know I feel awful! But it's a guilt that I live with. I tried to stockpile pampers when there was the $5 GC and $5 off target coupons, but didn't really work out to well. My grand total was like 12 packs of diapers and 4 packs of pullups.

Ok since everybody is confessing.....................................my hubby does all of the grocery shopping...........and he uses no coupons. He says that since I save so much on household stuff Embarrassment that it's ok to spend on groceries.

Who am I to argue with that???? I hate grocery stores, and walking down each and every isle. Frown

I'm one of those people that are in and out, I don't like to browse too much. But if you want to talk about toothpaste, Glade, Ziplock bags, downy, tide, bounce, bounty and TP, well we have enough to last us 10 years.

But if we had a Super Target here, it would be a different story.

By the way I do not allow him to read the target thread, because then he will see the amazing things that you all do!

Ok go ahead and yell at me!

You may want to re-think about the grocery stores. I find MANY tearpads and peelies on my weekly browsing trips to the local grocery stores (see the list in my siggy). Yahoo!

Many hot & demanding Qs can be found on the shelves next to the items, on the cardboard displays, on the drink coolers and coming out of the blinkie machines. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

The Q opportunities are endless..... Roll

My tearpad or peelie find at Target????? 1 in 100 EEK!

You could always register and "oops" list your due date a month or 2 before it actually is. Then you could use the %off Q on the things on your registry that you would have bought anyways... "registry completion" Whistling

Big huge multiquote...watch out! Roll

Quote from doublesided :
It completely varies depending on the kid. We used lots of size 2's, 3's and 5's. I have a friend that never went past 5's. My kid is in 6's and moving to pull ups. He's 25 months and 36 pounds. My niece is same age as DS and in size 4.
I agree each kid is very different. My plan is to get enough dipes to last until we move back to Omaha then stockpile as we go. I don't want to have to pay to move them.

Quote from BFshopgirl :

I paid for diapers for 1-1/2 yrs...EEK! I dont even want to think the money I could have saved...
nod I have no idea how I did it 14 years ago. Not one coupon used. DH and I weren't married or together...I was a single mommy making less than $25k and paying for daycare. Bigeye

Quote from Ms.T. :
I think we all paid for toothpaste : lmao: the HORRORS Roll

my crazy quirk is the toilet paper though. I will never wipe with cheap stuff again, EVER LMAO I have enough to wipe butts from here to timbuktoo and back again.
Secret That is my stockpile OCD. When DD was about 7 we had some financial difficulty. We ran out of TP. No problem use paper napkins until morning. No napkins, ok, paper towels...no paper towels. I had to use a washcloth and throw it away. vomit From that day I vowed I would never run out of tp. Now that I can get it free or for pennies on the dollar I stockpile.

Quote from Sharon52680 :
Last summer I stock piled 258 jumbo packs of Pampers from Target (sizes newborn to pullups in size 6, plus about 30 boxes of Splashers). I had another 20 or so packs from CVS deals as well. At almost 11 months, my son is currently using size 3s. We definately have enough of the newborn, 1s and 2s for then next one. Don't even ask what almost 300 packs of diapers looks like because I am sick of looking at them! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Once I get back to Omaha I would like to do this. Whatever we don't use can easily be given to friends/family or donated to EPS (Emergency Pregnancy Services).

If Abraham and Sarah could have a baby at 120 years old. SO CAN I !!!! I NEVER get any coupons or mailers from Target, so I'm creating a baby registry AND a wedding registry, not necessarily in that order Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
