This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Thrifty, I'm environmentally conscious, but when it comes to the clogged sewer.... :barf:

We have used the snake in the past for all kinds of clogging, but the mess from the spinning snake to the walls of your bathroom.... EEK!

I'll go the easy route, thank you. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Ummm, that is definitely badger worthy! High Five

Nono My husband is a plumber. A good old snaking is really the best way to correctly clear a clogged drain.

Edit: You can get a snake for a reasonable price at home improvement/hardware stores. They are quite easy to use.
Agreed, that collection is absolutely badger worthy!!

and... also agree with Ms Thrifty here on the snaking - after paying more than I thought it was worth to have someone come and snake my kitchen sink after one unnamed child decides it would be a good idea to pour 1/2 bowl of cereal chased with some deep frying oil into the sink and then shut off the water, I invested in a snake from HD.

Best investment I have EVER made. This thing is glorious on the kitchen sink, toilets (all this extra toilet paper stockpile seems to have increased the level of consumption as well), bathroom sinks and those of family, friends and neighbors. It's so easy to use. Just start the spiraly thing down the drain, flip the switch and wait for it to do its magic! Nice! No chemicals, no fumes, no nothing but clear pipes!!

My kiddos are out of school today so we went on a picnic. I drove though McDonalds and ordered the usual without looking at the menu. They give us the boxes for the Happy Meals and what's staring at me? B.O.B. yes that blue thing. My kids now have cut out masks running around. Funniest part is there are instuctions for you to "punch out B.O.B's eye and wet it. Then stick it to your forehead and become your own B.O.B" EEK! LMAO

DH has his own reasoning as for why his name is Bob Secret EEK! Nono

Mess on the walls??? I've never experienced that with my snake! The spinny thing should go right back into the housing as it comes back out of the pipe. It should never be out far enough to spray anything anywhere. If it's spraying, the unit isn't close enough to the hole it's unclogging. It's the cleanest method I've ever used - even with the plunger there's a threat of an overflow situation but never a mess with the snake. shake head
