When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Just got some plastic fillable Easter eggs for DD to 'hunt'...not sure what to put in them though (no candy). Any ideas? I've got smaller sized eggs and a few of the bigger sized eggs. DD will be 19 months old and is still liking to put stuff in her mouth. Thanks for any ideas you guys have!
Last year when DS was about that age I put some Little People in them. I even took a few he already had and used those (I also bought a few). I also used some of those Mardi Gras style beads, little cans of playdoh, goldfish crackers and the Gerber Toddler fruit snacks. I know there was other stuff but I totally can't remember right now. He really didn't care what was in the egg, it was all about the hunt. This year a bunch of the eggs are stuffed with Hot Wheel Cars. Smilie

I'm trying to think of something that you could make fit in an egg but that she won't choke on. Scratchchin How about some pretty hairbows/scrunchies, stickers, maybe some small dress up items for her or a doll baby.

:shake : Not for me, but come to think of it...Ponds didnt limit for me either. Sent them all to the same address. HTH
Nice ideas...she does need some new hair thingies. Thanks!!

good mornin neighbor. having my wake me up coffee and trying to remember that far back what I put in the eggs. Stickers would be good if they like that. Throw some cheerios in there or a couple of animal crackers.
Animal crackers! Good idea! Thanks, Ms. T!

I like the Mardi Gras style beads idea...she loves those. The fruit snacks/goldfish crackers will work too!! Thanks!!

Thanks for all of your great ideas!! Now to go and get some of this stuff. Big Grin Now, is it too young for her to do some egg coloring? I'm just wondering if it's better when she's a little older...

Hello to all,

I have been a lurker ever since I started my maternity leave. I am said that I will be unable to visit as often when I return to work at the end of April. Any way, I'm not sure if this is the right thread or if I should be posting in the T and ST deal forum. Oh well.

Thought I'd jump in and offer some coupons. I have the $10 off $100 Target electronics that I will not be using.

I also have "Team Diet" coupons (12) that came in this week's Sunmart ad. It expires on 4/18/09. It says "Get a free 12pk of Pepsi Diet Brands with the purchase of andy 3 Pepsi Cola 12 pk." I used it at T last night and it scanned w/o beeping and took $3.00 off my total purchase.

I'd love some pampers coupons as I have 2 under 2 years old. The $10 Toys R Us coupon seems like a good deal. Or any Pampers coupon is good. Please PM me if interested in a trade. I realize that the Target on expires on Saturday, so I'm willing to put it in the mail today. I can definately make the mail today if you contact me by noon.

Like I said not sure if there is a different forum where I should really be posting this. Sorry if I've done it really incorrectly.

My baby calls. Thanks for all your helpful tips. I feel like I've saved hundreds in just these few short weeks. Smilie

I remember as kids we would play egg hunt over and over and over without anything in them. When my mom and dad would hide the eggs not all of them had a *prize*. They had to hide enough for 6 kids laugh out loud It is definitely about the hunt, not what is in them. Did this with DD when she was little. We would do several hunts with only the first hunt having a few hidden treasures.

What about rub on tattoos or stickers? Hair stuff is a good idea if you dd likes it. Mine is a girly girl but NOTHING goes in her hair laugh out loud so her dollys get the pretty dress up bows.

i got her (turning 3) some animals that grow when put in water (got them at ACmoore for a buck each). And some dolly stuff. her basket will have a movie, book and some princess stuff. DS (7) is getting a movie, tatoos and books (he has just started to read and loves it Smilie )

sungoddess7~ let her finger paint some eggs. This will be a fun color learning experience for her. I bet she would love it and you can buy washable non-toxic paints.

Sungoddess: Coins are good too! They make good noise and kids are generally excited about any money at this age. Also, the fruit gummies.

The other fun thing is to let them decorate the eggs with just stickers. Not as messy for the little ones.

Welcome! A Q trade or give away request is best posted in chat, but people often post them in the deals thread.

Two under two is a challenge hug in more ways than just diapers. There are lots of good baby deals at T, so hopefully you'll be able to stick around.

What??? I don't care if something was 90% off at T - if it is something that I have to wake up for, I'd give it a Bonk

The timer on the light starts when you plug it in - on for 17, off for 7. Flowering plants need a dark period to flower so it tells you to have the light off during darker hours. Now that I replugged it in this morning at 5am so it could be on a better schedule... I don't like the outlet I plugged it into Bonk

At least it's not as noisy as the drinkwell Roll

nod So true!! The noise it makes when it's out of water is hideous!!

I really hate cleaning the dang thing. I never got the cleaning kit and it's a real PITA. Why, oh why did they not make it dishwasher safe??

I would get rid of it but the cats adore it.

Yes... every few days laugh out loud It used to do it a lot more often, but not so much anymore. And we don't clean it as much/thoroughly as used to either Coverlaugh

I just use a small bottle brush - works out pretty well. Would like an even smaller brush for the uptake area, but don't want to shell out them money for a specialty cleaning kit laugh out loud

My least favorite part is the filter I think. That thing is nasty when it's time to be changed... it's also bad when your cat with vomit issues does it in the drinkwell.
