8 cores / 16 thread. Easily overclock all cores / threads to 3.7 ghz with the included Wraith Spire cooler. Comes with a free quality B350 motherboard. This is so much value for the money I can't wrap my head around it. Prior to Ryzen arriving Intel used to charge $1,000 for 8 cores / 16 threads.

I bought the short-lived 1700x & x370 mb combo on Black Friday for $150, and this is nearly as good. Might even be better for someone who prefers options like matx form factor, included cpu cooler, etc. Considering buying this one too for a family member.
For normal use this is okay.
Now here's where it gets real. If you are gaming, this is trash. I'm not a fanboy, but I'm also not going to persuade anyone I know personally to buy this trash. People need to set the bar higher for gaming or they might as well go console. Old i5's run better than this cpu.
