This is a FYI for people who are interested in a CHEAP ($20 per month)Unlimited Plan through AT&T. The UConnect plan via the ZTE Mobley is back for a limited time. Currently, AT&T is sold out of the device (and its not certain if they will getting them back in stock). but you can still get the plan if you can come up with the ZTE Mobley device. You can still find a handful of the devices on eBay currently. The cool thing about the device is that people have figured out how to create adapters so the device can run off a wall outlet.

Per the wonderful website, RVmobileinternet.com you need to call a special ATT number to get the deal as it a special promotion. Below are the two numbers they listed on the website:

Primary Phone Number: 855-894-9945

Secondary Phone Number: 866-662-4548

HERE ARE LINKS TO THE RVMOBILEINTERNET SITE WHERE THEY DISCUSS WHAT THE MOBLEY IS AND HOW TO GET THIS DEAL:

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-of-stock/

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-campaign/

You can read about the device on several active forums too. Howard Forums is probably one of the best!

Used to be that you could use an IMEI generator to generate fake mobely IMEIs to activate one and get a SIM card sent to you. You could then use that SIM card in literally any device.

I have 2 of the $20 plans myself and upgraded when prompted to an Netgear nighthawk. The other sim is in a MOFI 4500 locked to an LTE band pulling 45 down and 20 up in a very rural area.

I never used that garbage mobely device and sold both for a hefty profit on eBay some time ago.

I was able to add a regular hotspot to my unlimited plan right before they stopped allowing unlimited plans on hotspots. Run it 24/7 no problem fast enough to pull 4k content from directv on demand

I have 2 Mobley lines. One I use at home it uses 500 to 800 GB of data. The other one I use at work and use 30 to 40 GB of data. Both Sims are in Hotspots

Have you tried it for live TV? Is there any buffering?

A SIM generator sounds like a potentially shady proposition. Probably safer just to be buy the Mobley and switch the SIM out.

Coming up, $500 Mobley devices on Ebay.

I was thinking the same thing. I am not sure if sellers were breaking ebay policy but I remember when the deal went away a couple years ago, people were selling their Connected Car accounts for big money.

So if you have the Mobley plan and sell your Mobley but use the sim in another device, someone else can still use that old mobley's Imei to get this plan? Can you use the same imei to get another plan on the same account or different account?
Not sure... I don't want to risk it. probably safest to buy a new Mobley and then keep it on hand in case.

Yes I believe up to $1000 to take over an account for a while. And for a short time, Mobley devices were selling for $400-$500. I haven't paid attention to this plan since it ended. But if it's back on for Mobley units, a new unused (w/unactivated SIM) one will probably skyrocket in price soon. If it's the only way to get the plan. I must say, the plan is one hell of a deal and doesn't seem to throttle at all for me. And with DirecTVNOW, it stays HD for hundreds of miles on end while on the road.

Anyone able to replicate this? Looks like this offer expired on Feb 23rd. Was on the phone with the rep for an hour trying to get it. All the ZTE Mobley's are sold out.

Please read the initial post.

Yes, the Mobleys are sold out through ATT but the plan is still available. You have to find a Mobley on your own (most likely through eBay) and then you have to call the special promotion phone number in the first post. Users on the RVMobileInternet site are saying that calling ATTs main line is a waste of time because they don't know where to route the call. People on the rv forums are saying this works. I should be able to tell you from experience very soon.

I was using to a Mobley for nearly a year. The power adapters are expensive for what they are and after mine broke I decided to just get a new hotspot. I swapped the SIM into this

NETGEAR Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot Router (Mr1110) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G5KW...GCbHJCVEFA

No issues from ATT and speeds increased. Has battery built in so easy to transport and then use a USB-C plug and adapter to charge up.
