This is a FYI for people who are interested in a CHEAP ($20 per month)Unlimited Plan through AT&T. The UConnect plan via the ZTE Mobley is back for a limited time. Currently, AT&T is sold out of the device (and its not certain if they will getting them back in stock). but you can still get the plan if you can come up with the ZTE Mobley device. You can still find a handful of the devices on eBay currently. The cool thing about the device is that people have figured out how to create adapters so the device can run off a wall outlet.

Per the wonderful website, RVmobileinternet.com you need to call a special ATT number to get the deal as it a special promotion. Below are the two numbers they listed on the website:

Primary Phone Number: 855-894-9945

Secondary Phone Number: 866-662-4548

HERE ARE LINKS TO THE RVMOBILEINTERNET SITE WHERE THEY DISCUSS WHAT THE MOBLEY IS AND HOW TO GET THIS DEAL:

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-of-stock/

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-campaign/

You can read about the device on several active forums too. Howard Forums is probably one of the best!

Thanks. Have you tried personally? Another user said they reused a retired Mobley IMEI for a 3rd line.
A retired Mobley meant it doesn't active right? SO it should work. I tried it on my retired Mobley

While there may be people getting away with this, I believe ipads and hotspots are in different device categories and this is against ATT's terms of service. Too risky for my blood; wouldnt want to get a bill for prior services... Im going with the brand new ZTE Mobleyto be safer. Plus the plan is $10 cheaper per month.
The plan they are taking about for iPads is prepaid without additional tax making it about a $6 difference in my state. Worst case, the plan gets cancelled, but that is highly unlikely based on the reported number of people using it for quite a while now.

Also, some people may not want the credit check for postpaid mobley. The break even point after buying a mobley without markup is around a year or more before the lower monthly cost would become advantageous.

How much did you pay for the Nighthawk? It's $200 on Best Buy. I wanna upgrade from my Mobley but not sure if it's worth it.

$50 after calling in to att rep. Which is ymmy. I saw someone did it on Reddit with 2yrs contract. Thought I give it a shot and rep couldn't do contract on my account for some reason, I then joked about $50 without contract and rep did it for me

the iPad plan is prepaid - if they have a problem all they can do is cancel the plan...

Sorry-- I believe what that person said was
  • 2 plans, 2 mobleys.
  • One sim gets moved to a different non-mobley hotspot.
  • Third plan is set up using IMEI of Mobley that is no longer in use.
  • All 3 plans work.

You tried adding a second line before your hiatus, and they declined it?

Did you activate your free sprint line in the zte duroforce pro or move the Sim after activation? I ask because I would like to move my Sim (free sprint line) from my Moto G5 Plus to a hot spot.
